Risa Hoshino is a Hawai‘i-based makeup + hair stylist leading major fashion and beauty campaigns on the islands.
After building her career across Tokyo, New York, Paris, and Milan, she now works with global brands shooting in Hawai‘i, bringing a deep understanding of the environment, light, and pace of production.
She served as Key Makeup Artist for Jacquemus’ landmark runway show in Hawai‘i, and leads makeup and hair for campaigns and editorials featured in Vogue, as well as for brands including Prada, Versace, Lululemon, and Speedo.
Known for natural, lived-in beauty, her work embraces skin, movement, and the elements. Sun-kissed and a little salty, never overworked. On set, she brings a sense of ease, realness, and fun.
Risa is also the creative behind Future of Cool and works as a creative director across shoots, music videos, and commercials.
